接地装置作为车载系统的附件，是整车系统驻车使用时的电气安全配套装置，主要用于整车系统过剩电荷安全漏泄，适用载重量在1.5吨以上的各类轮式越野汽车改装的机动电子类车载系统和各类装甲输送车或兵战车改装的机动电子类车载系统编配使用。

该装置由于打入方式独特，地钉和大地紧密接触，接地电阻比其他接地方式少40%以上，在一般土质情况下，三钉组网接地电阻≤5Ω。
